Food, Friends, Family, & Forgiveness

{food}
I am excited to announce that I am now a happy owner of the fantastic Kitchen Aid! It's my early birthday gift from my husband.

I've never really desired one until recently. Not that I wouldn't have gladly received one, I just didn't have too much use (or room) for one. But now that I'm a stay-at-home-mom/housewife *smile* I naturally want to do more cooking and baking. Uh-oh...I can see the extra poundage piling on already!

{friends}
One of my good friends got married last weekend and I had the privilege to be one of the bridesmaids. Everything went wonderfully, including the weather, and Jen made a beautiful bride. The only sadness that's a result from this union is that she'll be moving far, far away.

{family}
Robby is growing cuter everyday...oh, and physically and mentally, too. His little attention span is increasing and he's gaining curiosity each day. It was fun when he discovered his hands for the first time. Now he can't stop looking at them...that's what I call cheap entertainment!

This weekend he will turn 3 months despite that many of his clothes say "6 months."

{forgiveness}
Something I have to give constantly to the little man I was just typing about. For example, Sundays - the only day of the week you care about how your hair and clothing look, on top of the fact that clothing is still limited (at least for me since I didn't go out and purchase all new post-baby clothes). This little guy thinks it quite funny to spit up all over my shirt two minutes before walking out the door for church. It doesn't help that he laughs, either.

Flexibility, forgiveness, and patience are essential when caring for a little person. So, I forgive you, Robby, for all those times you thought it funny to soil yet another one of my meager t-shirts.

You looked great at the wedding, Jackie! Definitely radiant. :) Jen was so beautiful too... it's sad to think that she won't be there when we come to visit. :(

The KitchenAid is fantastic! I'm sure you'll be using it a lot. ;)
